One of the great things about spending the summer at Gleniffer Lake (or even part of it), is that it can give your health a boost. A lot of people spend the colder months sitting on the couch or behind a desk, without much of a chance to get outside and take in some fresh air.
Here at the lake, with peace, quiet, and nature so close by, they tend to get out and enjoy the great outdoors a little more.
For many of the families who come up to their lake properties at Gleniffer Lake, that extra bit of activity is enough. But, for serious athletes – or those who just want to vary things up a bit – we’ve also got a new outdoor fitness circuit. Designed with a series of “stations” that you can walk or run to, it features common workouts like a bench press, leg press, crunches, and more. It’s a great way to improve your fitness while enjoying the weather and moving around our Alberta resort community.
And don’t forget, we also have all of the activities that have made us so popular for many years, including swimming, golf, tennis, baseball, and even basketball – the Gleniffer Lake community even has a number of competitive leagues, see you can join a team and play against your neighbors!
All in all, there aren’t many better or more fun ways to get into shape, enjoy the outdoors, and improve your mood then by getting a taste of the summer life at Gleniffer Lake.
